Tummy in Trouble!

chaotic week here, 
back to the vet hospital
last tuesday evening. 

many liquid poops
for miss donut, along with
shaking and panting.

after four hours and
eight hundred dollars in bills,
the ladies set out.

subcutaneous
fluid in tow (very gross),
eight hundred mLs.

tummy in tumult,
there was little sleep that night,
naps in stolen stints.

frequent potty breaks,
trips outside at least hourly
starting tuesday night,

this continued through
wednesday evening. suddenly,
the pooping halted.

no poops at all 'til
thursday evening. new diet
dammed the poop river.

white rice and pumpkin
brought a new fear to bonk house.
alarming new change.

first, far too many poops.
stinky, messy, explosive.
now, no poops at all.

miss donut's next poop,
bright orange, witnessed by two.
one, ms. kriofsky.

two, man in a car. 
"that is good fertilizer!"
shouted from the road

as ms. kriofsky
tied the bag of solid waste.
she looks at the man.

with bag held aloft,
"you want it then?" she replied.
wisely, he sped off

Donut Invades Tucker-Land

donut and tucker
tucker’s recliner stolen by cousin donut

weekend trip up north
for bonk and miss donut to
see cousin tucker.

also his parents,
or whatever. mostly just
handsome tucker though.

the puppies donned
matching goblin ears to sit
so pretty for steak,

and miss donut stole
tucker's favorite chair spot:
window recliner. 

many comments for
miss lady on her beauty
and softness from all.
