Dreams Are the Doors of the Windows to the Soul

At any given time, approximately half of the world is asleep. I’m asleep right now. When people and other creatures sleep, sometimes the unconscious mind will generate a sequence of images called a “dream,” and these dreams are often referred to as the doors of the windows to the soul. Whatever your soul desires to see through the door to the window can be randomly generated within your own mind.

Recently, Bonk House residents have been plagued by dreams that have left them confused by what door their soul yearns to walk through. One recent dream featured Ms. Kriofsky being shot multiple times in the chest, which likely means that she feels pressure to be more open and willing to share her heart and other internal organs with those around her. In another dream this week, Ms. Kriofsky was bedeviled by a psychotic break as a result of no longer taking birth control pills, and was prescribed multiple brain surgeries to remedy this situation. Her hair started falling out of only half of her head, one brain surgery had to be delayed in the middle of the procedure which resulted in Ms. Kriofsky spending several days wandering around with a hole in her head covered in plastic wrap. Many people wanted to touch the inside of her head. Please do not touch the inside of her head. This dream signifies that Ms. Kriofsky is very smart and that people hunger to know her thoughts and also that she should get a haircut soon.

Miss Donut has also been experiencing dreams as of late, though hers can be more difficult to interpret as she does not speak a shared language with Ms. Kriofsky. Recent reports indicate that Miss Donut has been twitching her little feets and doing little baby barks in her sleep, so it must be assumed that she is dreaming of chasing a rabbit or perhaps even a cat. Of course, this means that she should chase more rabbits or perhaps even cats.

Stay The Course

This week has been a quiet one in the Bonk House, as several major projects continue their slow march forward. Ms. Kriofsky’s quest to read every book continues, and she read one additional book this week, which proved quite silly and delightful. She has not as yet selected her next target of her literary conquest, but she is leaning towards one of several books that she has borrowed from a smattering of people.

Ms. Kriofsky has also continued work on her 14 Color Woolstok Wrap. She completed another few stripes over this past weekend, and with that progress she now moves into the final iteration of the pattern repeat. Based on preliminary calculations, Ms. Kriofsky has approximately another 19 hours of work left on the aforementioned project.

The progress made on each of these major undertakings places Ms. Kriofsky square in her own Hall of Fame of summer productivity. Typically, she tends to struggle with sustained effort on long-term projects. Could this be a changing of the guard?
